The African Beach Soccer Championship, held from October 21 to 28, 2022, in the tourist town of Vilanculos, in the province of Inhambane, brought together around 18,000 people, including players, great individuals from the field of soccer and beyond, fans and the general public, who, in addition to watching soccer, were part of a chain of environmental awareness for the benefit of marine biodiversity, especially the Dugongo.
